This sweet Guelph Arboretum engagement session is one for the books! Claire and Trent were one of the very first couples to book me for their July wedding once my dates opened up for 2022 and I could not have been more excited! Claire and I actually used to work together in retail years ago, so getting to reconnect with her, and meet her fiancé Trent and their pup Luna was so special.
The two of them had recently moved to Guelph, so we decided on staying local for this session. They were hoping for something with lots of greenery and I knew that the University of Guelph Arboretum is beautiful at the end of the summer, so it couldn’t have been more perfect for their engagement session. We spent the warm evening walking, chatting and the two of them did a little slow dancing – it was the most perfect night!
Luna joined us for part of the shoot at the beginning, but Claire and Trent were super smart and took her parents along to take her for a walk the rest of the evening so they could just relax and enjoy out time together. It is always worth the extra effort of having someone with if you are planning to have any furry friends at your session because it takes the stress off of you having to take care of them the whole time.
I could not be more excited for their wedding day at Cranberry Creek Gardens and to work alongside the talented LQ Events this coming summer. If this session is any indication of what it is going to be like, its going to be absolutely dreamy!
